Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was considered to be one of the top athletes. The 2016 Olympics that took place in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in a single Games and was also the first gymnast to earn three consecutive world all-around titles (2013-15). Biles was born and raised at home in Spring Texas, in the Houston metro region. Both she and her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone was introduced to gymnastics by her daycare instructor Aimee Borman when she was aged six. Biles stayed with Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles was a winner in the floor and vault exercises at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before getting to the elite competition level in 2011. Two years later, she was the most dominant athlete in the field. Biles's consistent, exuberant attitude and level of effort in her four events -- vault uneven bars balance beam floor exercise as well as floor exercise -- set her above the others.
