Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the teenager age. As well as BJJ classes, she also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. In the age of 18, she made her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in 16-seconds to break her winning streak. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya in the third round at UFC at ESPN 7. As a replacement, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The decision was made unanimously against her.
